I developed my business plan in 2004 with the goal of working in conjunction with Estate/Client’s professionals. Individuals and families with mineral holdings will find it necessary at one point or another to organize their mineral assets. A detailed Mineral Inventory (Well Name, State, County/Parish, Owner Number, Property Number, legal description, type of interest, decimal interest paid, State issued identification number) is an essential tool to best organize mineral assets.
I complete Oil and Gas mineral projects working in conjunction with several of the most prestigious law firms in the country, financial professionals, CPA Firms, Trust Companies and wealth management firms. These projects have included compiling mineral inventories for the client, mineral and title research, and preparation of Mineral Deeds which are filed and recorded with county offices in multiple states.
These recorded instruments are sent to the Oil and Gas entities in order to have new division orders issued and analyzed for accuracy. These projects required Title Curative work to be filed in multiple states. The Ad Valorem Taxes rolls are updated and verified for accuracy in assessed values by the County, audit to revenue payments and annual tax payment verification. Valuation of the client’s total mineral assets is completed as necessary.
I have been a member of the AAPL (America's Association of Petroleum Landmen) since 2007 and NADOA (National Association of Division Order Analyst) since 2010. In September 2009 I instructed a class for the Houston Chapter NDOA Analysts to present the steps required to properly transfer ownership of mineral interests and how to best avoid future title curative actions.
In 2013 I became a lifetime membership to The International Women's Leadership Association 2016 Recognized by the Elite Women Worldwide honored for Superior Leadership and Outstanding Achievements in the Professional Community and in 2017 named as a Top Female Executive as in the Elite Women Worldwide.
I am familiar with the complex laws in the State of Louisiana and have worked with legal council in the preparation and filings of Successions in the State of Louisiana. I also have experience in filing Ancillary Proceedings in the State of Oklahoma.
I have extensive experience in opening probates in several other states including but not limited to New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, California, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wyoming, Kansas, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. The information I compile must be accurate as it is instrumental in filing Estate Tax Returns with the Internal Revenue Service. While located in Texas, my research related to Oil and Gas Minerals extends well beyond Texas.
